The brain work of master craftsman of Kannada cinema SV Rajendra Singh Babu is slowly scaling heights. At the KCA and Karnataka government event at Gandhi Bhavan the motives of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy were highlighted.

SV Rajendra Singh Babu has entrusted the translation of world cinema books to P Seshadri and Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli so that they become asset to the present generation of film makers. Senior Journalist Sadashiva Shenoy is authoring a book on 25 film actors in the coming days. Singh Babu urged Prof Baraguru to be part of a few world film books translation.

The other tasks before Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy are:

·        From national film archives it is important to make the negatives in to digital format. A strong step is made in this direction.

·        Film Appreciation course is held at Mysooru, Shivamogga, Gulbarga and Dharawada.

·        Jenugoodu – story bank in consultation with literary personalities.

·        Quality films screening at place like Freedom Park.
